THORN
THORN is an elegant and dynamic system that emphasizes purity of shape and materials. Its clean, simple style is open to maximum design creativity, leading to a wide range of sophisticated display solutions. The socket fixtures for the display elements are also an integral part of the design. They come in two shapes: round and square, and in three finishes: glossy chrome, matte chrome and brushed nickel. The fixtures and accessories coordinate perfectly with glass, wooden or acrylic shelves and are executed with the greatest care to enhance your displayed items. THORN Round System is for use with wooden and plexiglass panels with a thickness of 18 mm. The number of socket holes and the distance between them, both vertically and horizontally, can be personalized according to your display needs. Assembly is very simple: the socket is inserted into a hole in the panel and then locked with a nut and washer. For a more secure fitting, the socket can be fastened by screwing the support plate (SB101100T) directly onto the back of the wooden panel. The slot on the front of the socket must always be aligned vertically, for correct fitting of the accessories. The display panels are then mounted to the wall or wooden support strips by screwing through the holes in the center of the sockets. THORN Square System is for use with wood, MDF and plexiglass panels with a thickness of 18 mm. The new THORN square socket assembly contains a folding plate that pops into view when there is no accessory in the socket, giving the socket the look of a design element on the panel. The number of socket holes and the distance between them, both vertically and horizontally, can be personalized according to your display needs. Assembly is easy: the socket is inserted into a 36x36 mm square hole in the panel, and then the rear plate is locked into place using 4 special screws. The panel can be attached to the wall using two different methods: The square socket's rear plate has a flange for hanging on a wall-mounted zinc support bracket (supplied separately). For a more secure and permanent attachment, you can screw through the back of the sockets into strips of wood that have been mounted on the wall (especially helpful for uneven wall surfaces).
